Job Summary:
The Branch Finance Manager will oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities for the branch, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a focus on maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the daily accounting operations of the branch, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, including reconciliations and variance analysis.Collaborate with branch management to develop budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights to support decision-making.Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies related to financial operations.Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission.Train and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and reviews.Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations for operational improvements.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.5 years of experience in accounting or financial management, with experience in a branch or operational setting.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Netsuite.Previous management experience in a branch or multi-location environment.
