Overview:

We are looking for a versatile Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with solid experience in both web development and data pipeline creation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that drive our business forward.

The Company is undergoing a strategic transformation of its internal applications. The Data Engineer will be instrumental in migrating locally developed Flask/Python applications into scalable, server-side data pipeline processes. This role supports the modernization of legacy systems and the development of robust, production-grade data infrastructure to support business intelligence and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert existing Flask/Python applications into scalable server-side data pipelines.
  • Design, build, and maintain data-centric backend processes that support analytics and reporting
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications.
  • Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Develop web applications, APIs, and data pipelines that integrate with multiple systems.
  • Develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and ETL pipelines integrating multiple systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure software quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across applications.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in:

-Python

-JavaScript / TypeScript

-SQL

  • Proficiency in Python (core language for current and future systems)
  • Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying
  • JavaScript/TypeScript for front-end or API-related tasks
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with web frameworks (e.g.,
    Flask,
    Django, React, or ).
  • Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience building ETL pipelines and working with data pipeline tools
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Some exposure or experience in the contact center industry and platforms performing functions related to ERP, CX, WFO, etc..
