Our Data Analytics Platform is seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in the Philippines. In this position you will be responsible for The database management, security, data integration, performance optimization, networking, backup and recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting. In this role, the DB Admin will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our SQL Data Warehouse (DWH), ensuring its performance, data quality, and overall reliability

What you'll do
  • Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize data infrastructure and pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Data Security: Implement and maintain data security and compliance measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with BI developers, data scientists, analysts, and other cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data engineering processes, workflows, and architecture.
About you
  • Proven experience (at least 5 years) as a SQL Data Warehouse Database Administrator with a strong emphasis on database management, security, data integration, performance optimization, networking, backup, and recovery.
  • Hands on experience in SSIS.
  • Hands on experience in developing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake is an advantage.
  • ETL processing using Azure Databricks and Delta Lake including optimization is an advantage.
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
