For the Position: SALES TECHNICIAN (Sales & Technical Personnel)

1. MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Any of the following:

  • BS Electronics / Electrical Technology
  • BS Industrial Technology (Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical)
  • BS Biomedical Engineering (advantage)
  • BS Nursing, MedTech, or Allied Health with strong technical aptitude
  • TESDA NC-II/NC-III Certifications
  • o Electrical Installation and Maintenanceo Electronic Product Assembly Mechatronics Servicing Biomedical Technician (advantage)

2. TECHNICAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Applicants must demonstrate strong capability in both sales AND technical operations:

A. Technical Competencies

  • Basic knowledge of:
  • o Electronics and electrical principleso Troubleshooting and diagnostic process Preventive maintenance procedureso Installation protocols and safety standards
  • Ability to read:

Technical manual Wiring diagram Equipment schematics

  • Knowledgeable in computer operations:

o MS Office Report encoding Mobile apps for service monitoringo Calibration assistance Equipment simulation and testing. User in-service and product demo support. Manufacturer training Service protocol mastery Safety & compliance training

B. Sales Competencies

  • Ability to perform:
  • Prepared to undergo extensive product training:
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written)
  • Ability to sell technical products to:
  • o Purchasing Nurses Doctors Biomedical engineers
  • Experience in:

o Hospital coverageo Sales calls Handling objections Product demo skills

  • Familiar with:

o Quotation preparationo PR/PO follow-up Collections support Basic CRM and pipeline management

C. Advantageous Skills

  • Experience in biomedical service, medical supplies, or equipment industry
  • Experience in sales, fieldwork, or hospital account handling
  • Valid driver's license (preferred, but not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of DOH, FDA, and hospital procurement processes
