Job Summary

As a Demand Planner in our fast-paced FMCG environment, you'll be the wizard behind predicting what our customers will want You'll use your analytical skills and market knowledge to forecast demand for our awesome products, ensuring we have the right amount of stock to meet customer needs and minimize waste. You'll work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to develop and refine our forecasting models, contributing directly to our company's success. Job DescriptionResponsibilities:

  • Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts at various levels of aggregation (e.g., product, region, customer) using statistical modeling, historical data analysis, and market intelligence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product management teams to gather insights on upcoming promotions, new product launches, and market trends that may impact demand.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to identify patterns and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Forecast Refinement: Continuously refine forecasting models and methodologies to improve accuracy and reduce forecast error.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure optimal inventory levels based on demand forecasts, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning, such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on demand forecasts, forecast accuracy, and inventory performance to management.
  • System Management: Utilize and maintain demand planning software and tools.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the demand planning function.
  • Scenario Planning: Develop and evaluate various demand scenarios to assess potential risks and opportunities.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing accurate demand forecasts.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in statistical modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Experience with demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra, JDA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of supply chain principles and inventory management techniques.
  • Knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior in the FMCG industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
