We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven
Demand Planner
to lead forecasting and inventory optimization across our retail supply chain. This role is pivotal in aligning demand signals with supply capabilities, minimizing stockouts and overstocks, and enhancing customer satisfaction. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure accurate demand planning and seamless product availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate
    weekly, monthly, and seasonal demand forecasts
    using statistical models and business insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand
    market drivers, promotional plans, and product lifecycle changes
  • Monitor and report on
    forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and service rates
  • Identify demand trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic decision-making
  • Provide input to
    supply planning and procurement
    to align inventory strategies with forecasted demand
  • Lead monthly
    S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning)
    meetings to align demand plans with business goals
  • Utilize demand planning software and ERP systems to manage forecasts and inventory data
  • Support
    new product introductions, phase-outs, and seasonal transitions
    with tailored demand strategies
  • Conduct
    root cause analysis
    for forecast variances and implement corrective actions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in
    demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management
    in retail or supply chain
  • Proficiency in
    forecasting tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle Demantra, Excel, Power BI)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with
    S&OP processes
    and cross-functional collaboration

Work arrangements

Location: Makati City

Shift: 8 am - 6 pm

Set-up: Hybrid (2 days WFH, 3 days onsite) but for the 1st 4 months, the candidate is required to report on-site to transition into the role
