The Credit Evaluation Associate is responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of clients, businesses, or loan applicants. This role involves analyzing financial statements, credit reports, repayment history, and risk factors to support sound lending and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and analyze applicants' financial information, credit histories, and risk profiles.
  • Prepare credit assessment reports with recommendations for approval, modification, or rejection.
  • Review loan applications, supporting documents, and collateral details.
  • Collaborate with relationship managers, underwriters, and other internal teams to ensure accurate risk evaluation.
  • Monitor existing loan portfolios for changes in credit quality.
  • Stay updated on market trends, credit regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, lending guidelines, and legal requirements.
  • Assist in the development of credit scoring models and risk assessment tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in credit analysis, lending, or financial analysis (0–3 years for associate level).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with credit rating systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
