We are seeking a motivated and skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in the development and operations of our enterprise Data Lakehouse solution. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines that power critical business insights and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines from diverse sources, including databases, unstructured files (CSV, JSON, documents, video, audio), ensuring data quality and reliability.
  • Implement various data ingestion strategies (incremental, full load, upsert) and determine appropriate processing methodologies (real-time, batch) based on business requirements.
  • Configure and manage data storage solutions (e.g., S3, BigQuery) for optimal performance and accessibility.
  • Schedule, monitor, and govern data workflows, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, define business data models, and translate them into efficient data solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues, ensuring operational stability and data integrity.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, Java).
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

Plus Skills (or equivalent experience):

  • Experience with Apache Iceberg for open table formats.
  • Familiarity with streaming platforms like Apache Kafka and real-time processing with Apache Flink.
  • Experience with distributed processing frameworks such as Apache Spark.
  • Knowledge of data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Apache Superset and Looker Studio.
  • Familiarity with Google BigQuery.
