Summary

As a Senior Databricks Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain data solutions that support data generation, collection, and processing. You will build and optimize data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL (extract, transform, load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to addressing challenges and improving data workflows, ultimately enhancing the efficiency of the organization's data management practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform independently and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Actively participate and contribute to team discussions.
  • Provide effective solutions to work-related challenges.
  • Collaborate with international, cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Document data processes and workflows for clarity and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in
    Databricks
    or the
    Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    data modeling
    and
    database design principles
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    ETL tools
    and
    data integration techniques
    .
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services related to data storage and processing (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Good to have:
    Experience with
    Apache Spark
    and
    data lake architectures
    .
  • Minimum of
    1 year of experience in Databricks
    or the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
