Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Solar Project Engineer to lead and manage solar energy projects from planning to execution. This role involves coordination across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning stages to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong background in renewable energy and excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of solar PV projects (rooftop and/or ground-mounted).
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Review and validate engineering designs, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Prepare project documentation including reports, proposals, and progress updates.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor and manage the progress of installations and ensure adherence to regulatory and environmental requirements.
  • Provide technical support during commissioning and turnover stages.
  • Support procurement by reviewing technical specs and supplier deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
  • PRC License preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in solar PV projects or related engineering roles.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with local building and electrical codes.
  • Proficient in tools such as MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Willing to travel and work on-site as required.
