About the Role

Colliers International Philippines, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Property Shift Engineer to join our dynamic Real Estate Management Services team at C5 Bridgetown, Pasig City. In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of all building systems—including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC—during your assigned shift.

You will play a key role in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and fully operational environment for tenants and occupants by conducting regular inspections, performing both preventive and corrective maintenance, promptly addressing technical issues, and supporting the day-to-day engineering operations of the property.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain building systems and equipment (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, elevators, etc.)
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs as required
  • Respond promptly and professionally to tenant complaints, service requests, and reported issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and service disruptions
  • Log all shift activities, equipment readings, and incidents in accordance with company protocols
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized services during the shift
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in all mechanical rooms and plant areas
  • Assist in implementing energy-saving initiatives and engineering best practices
  • Escalate complex technical issues or emergencies to the Chief Engineer.

What we're looking for

  • Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in property engineering or building maintenance, preferably in commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments
  • Solid knowledge of building systems operations and maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and equipment diagrams
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Physically fit and willing to work on a shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • PRC license is required
