About the role

As a Property Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the residential building in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This full-time position will see you responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of all building systems and infrastructure, contributing directly to the success and profitability of the property portfolio.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of building equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs to maximise the lifespan and performance of building assets
  • Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues before they escalate
  • Liaise with contractors, vendors, and service providers to coordinate improvement projects and ensure timely completion
  • Monitor energy consumption and explore opportunities to enhance efficiency and sustainability
  • Assist with the development and implementation of operating budgets and capital expenditure plans
  • Collaborate with the property management team to address tenant concerns and queries in a timely manner
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation to support ongoing operations and strategic decision-making

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferably Civil, Mechanical or Electrical
  • 2-3 years of experience in a property engineering or facilities management role, preferably in a commercial real estate setting
  • Must be proactive
  • Proficient understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Proficiency in using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) and building automation software
