We are seeking a Legal Billing and Collections Assistant to join our Texas-based law firm, playing a vital role in billing processes and providing administrative support to our attorneys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:
    • Assist attorneys with scheduling, document preparation, and file management.
    • Handle correspondence and maintain organized records.
  • Account Management: Monitor and maintain accurate records of client accounts, ensuring timely follow-up on overdue payments.​
  • Client Communication: Contact clients via phone, email, or mail to inform them of outstanding balances and negotiate payment plans

Requirements

  • Experience in billing and administrative roles of at least 3 years (Non-negotiable requirement)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
  • Candidates must have their own laptop or PC, a high-quality headset, high-speed internet, and a backup connection.
  • Must be amenable to working night shifts and overtime.
