Scope of Role:

The Regulatory Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring the organization's compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and requirements related to BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) and LGU (Local Government Unit) permits and licenses. The role will involve preparing and filing documents, coordinating with clients and third parties, and maintaining accurate records to avoid any non-compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. BIR Compliance

  2. Prepare, file, and upload relevant BIR forms

  3. Ensure accurate and timely eFPS/eBIR uploads and payments
  4. Reconcile 2307s and coordinate with clients or third parties for collection
  5. Assist during BIR audits and respond to Letter of Authority (LOA) requests
  6. Maintain updated BIR folders and compliance logs per entity
  7. Permits & Licenses (LGU, Barangay, Regulatory)

  8. Process new and renewal applications for:

    • Barangay Clearance
    • Mayor's Permit
    • Sanitary Permit
    • Locational Clearance
    • Fire Safety Inspection
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for permits and licenses

Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in BIR tax compliance + business registration

  • Familiar with eFPS, eBIR, manual filing and audit coordination

  • Knowledgeable in permit processing with LGUs & regulatory bodies

  • Willing to travel to branches, city halls, RDOs, and satellite offices

  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and proactive
