The Junior Analyst supports the analytical needs of the organization by collecting, processing, and analyzing data to provide actionable insights. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and are eager to learn and grow in the field of data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Preparation:

  • Assist in collecting data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Clean and organize data to prepare it for analysis.
  • Maintain data integrity and quality through regular checks and validation.

Data Analysis:

  • Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Support senior analysts in more complex analytical tasks and projects.
  • Use statistical techniques to analyze data and generate reports.

Reporting and Visualization:

  • Create and update reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings.
  • Assist in developing presentations to share insights with stakeholders.
  • Ensure reports and visualizations are clear, accurate, and tailored to the audience's needs.

Support and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with senior analysts and other team members to support various projects.
  • Assist in gathering requirements from different departments to understand their data needs.
  • Provide support in data-driven decision-making processes.

Continuous Learning and Development:

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in data analysis and visualization.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance analytical skills.
  • Seek feedback and actively work on areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Occasional lifting of office supplies and equipment (up to 20 pounds).

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based with some remote work opportunities.
  • Standard office hours with occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines.
