Job Description

As a Medical Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing calls, scheduling visits, and maintaining records. You'll support daily clinic operations, ensure smooth communication, and provide compassionate assistance in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably with medical office experience
• Empathetic and patient-focused mindset with a genuine desire to help others
• Familiarity with insurance policies, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using EHR software and Microsoft applications
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Your Daily Tasks

• Answer phone calls, screen and direct calls to appropriate personnel
• Respond promptly and professionally to caller inquiries with accurate information
• Document interactions and maintain detailed patient communication records in compliance with privacy regulations
• Manage administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and faxing documents
• Assist patients with scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations
• Coordinate referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers
• Address patient concerns or complaints with empathy and timely resolution
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external callers
