The Maintenance Supervisor leads the mechanical & electrical preventive maintenance and repair of heavy equipment/machinery to ensure that all Land Based Equipment (LBE) of PSACC are functioning well and according to standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure that all the LBEs are working well and according to standard by leading all the maintenance personnel.

  • Plan, schedule, monitor, facilitates and supervise the implementation of the Preventive Maintenance activities of all heavy machineries/equipment
  • Lead the repair works of defective machines, equipment and facilities that can affect the operations
  • Make and review purchasing requests for all maintenance work and seek approval of the Maintenance Manager
  • Review and evaluate all maintenance contract services rendered in terms of the set standard and quality
  • Validate all material/item requests related to maintenance works from material sections for Maintenance Managers approval
  • Supervise the operation of assigned equipment or machines in supporting the operations
  • Implement safety, health and environment programs. Also, recommend measures for safety or personnel maintaining and operating the machines
  • Perform tasks that may be assigned from time to time related to technical duties

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have a graduate of mechanical engineering courses
  • Licensed/Registered Engineer (Mechanical or Engineer) is preference
  • Minimum of 2 years overall related experience
  • Hold a supervisory position in previous work
