About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems. This role requires a hands-on professional who is passionate about delivering complete design solutions from start to finish using Revit. You will be responsible for creating detailed designs and models without delegating tasks to drafters or designers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform start-to-finish design and engineering for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Develop and maintain detailed Revit models and drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver accurate and timely design solutions.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Revit is a must.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards.
  • Ability and willingness to perform all design and modeling work independently (no supervision of drafters/designers).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Work Arrangement:
  • Must be willing to work on-site at BGC Head Office for up to 6 months from the hire date.
  • After the initial on-site period, the role will transition to remote/WFH.
  • All work must be performed within the US-based project requirements.
