About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer/Drafter to join our growing engineering team. If you have strong 2D/3D CAD capabilities and a solid background in bulk materials handling design, this is an excellent opportunity to work on complex and exciting projects in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality design drawings using 2D and 3D CAD software, following Client-defined CAD standards and procedures.
  • Produce design deliverables within the allocated project budget hours.
  • Perform layout and detailing work for materials handling systems and mine plant design.
  • Apply strong knowledge of fabrication and construction techniques to ensure buildable, accurate designs.
  • Review and check design drawings, with the ability to lead a design team (for senior-level candidates).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Designing/Drafting.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in MicroStation or AutoCAD (required).

  • Proven background in designing:

  • Conveyors

  • Chutes
  • Platework
  • Strong experience in bulk materials handling projects.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills when coordinating with both local and international project teams.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Note: HVAC and air-conditioning design experience is not applicable to this role.
  • Willing to work in the office full-time at BGC, Taguig City. (Monday-Friday, Dayshift)
