Job Summary:

Responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and tracking the execution of engineering projects to ensure timely delivery, compliance with technical specifications, and alignment with approved budgets and schedules. This role focuses solely on engineering projects within the context of facility management, cold storage, and food manufacturing operations. The position requires the ability to create and review Scope of Works (SOW) and Technical Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure accuracy and completeness in project planning and execution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • · Coordinate all engineering project activities from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budget.
  • · Develop, review, and validate Scope of Works (SOW) and Technical Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure technical accuracy and cost alignment.
  • · Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare regular status reports for the Engineering & Project Manager.
  • · Facilitate project meetings, documenting minutes, action plans, and follow-ups to ensure accountability.
  • · Liaise with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Procurement, and QA) to align project requirements and resolve issues promptly.
  • · Ensure contractors and vendors comply with project specifications, technical standards, quality requirements, and safety protocols.
  • · Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, permits, drawings, and technical reports.
  • · Track project costs and resource usage, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • · Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of project materials, equipment, and services.
  • · Support commissioning, testing, and handover activities, ensuring operational readiness of equipment and systems.
  • · Assist in conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation measures for engineering project activities.
  • · Ensure compliance with regulatory standards applicable to facility management, cold storage systems, and food manufacturing facilities.
  • · Support post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and recommend process improvements for future projects.
  • · Perform other related duties that may be assigned by your immediate superior from time to time.

Job Qualifications:

  • · Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • · Preferably a licensed engineer (PRC), but not strictly required if supported by strong project experience.
  • · Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering project coordination, preferably in facility management, cold storage, food manufacturing, or total engineering environments.
  • · Must be able to create and review Scope of Works (SOW) and Technical Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • · Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • · Strong understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction/installation methods.
  • · Knowledge of refrigeration systems, utilities, process equipment, and building infrastructure is an advantage.
  • · Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • · Skilled in project cost tracking, scheduling methodologies, and basic risk management principles.
  • · Certification in project management (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • · Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
