About the role

SteelAsia Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a skilled Technician to join our team in Meycauayan City, Bulacan on a contract basis. As a Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.

What you'll be doing

  1. Performing scheduled maintenance and repairs on a range of manufacturing equipment
  2. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to minimise downtime
  3. Collaborating with the manufacturing team to identify and implement process improvements
  4. Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
  5. Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations
  6. Providing technical support and guidance to the production team as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Technician in a manufacturing environment
  2. Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  3. Proficient in the use of various tools and equipment used in manufacturing
  4. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  6. Effective communication and teamwork skills
  7. Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
