Accounting Associate
who will be working with Connext's Client in the United States of America.

What is the job?

  • Prepare and process customer billings, verify data accuracy, and issue monthly Statements of Account.
  • Handle customer billing inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and ensure professional communication.
  • Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection in line with credit control policies.
  • Record and reconcile cash receipts, and perform monthly bank and AR sub-ledger reconciliations.
  • Ensure all AR transactions comply with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Assist in audit preparations and support the Finance Manager or AR Team Lead with ad-hoc tasks.

Required qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role.
  • Strong understanding of billing processes, credit control, and collections.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel for financial data management and analysis.
  • Clear and professional communicator, able to handle customer inquiries and build positive relationships.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in supporting an Australian financial portfolio is an advantage.
