Job Overview:

Discover Group of Travel Services Inc. is seeking an experienced and proactive Public Relations (PR) Officer to manage and protect the company's public image. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and responding to online feedback, particularly negative comments or reviews, and for building strong relationships with media partners, writers, and influencers to promote the company's achievements and maintain a positive reputation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor all online platforms (social media, forums, review sites, etc.) for mentions of the company, especially negative feedback.
  • Respond professionally and diplomatically to negative posts or public complaints to manage and mitigate reputational risks.
  • Draft well-written, thoughtful replies that reflect the company's values and maintain its public image.
  • Coordinate with external PR firms, content writers, influencers, or marketing agencies to produce positive publicity and highlight the company's successes.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, and Management) to align PR strategies with company goals.
  • Develop strategies for crisis communication, brand positioning, and media outreach.
  • Create and maintain a PR calendar to support promotional efforts and timely responses.
  • Assist in the creation of press releases, media kits, and other promotional content.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Public Relations, Crisis Communication, or Online Reputation Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to de-escalate sensitive situations
  • Social media savvy and familiar with digital monitoring tools
  • Ability to work independently and proactively manage issues in real-time
  • Background in journalism, communications, or marketing is a plus
