Role Description

The SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Consultant leads business process design and system configuration using SAP best practices. You will run Fit-to-Standard workshops, configure end-to-end processes, support integration and data migration, and drive testing, cutover, and hypercare to achieve successful go-live outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Business Process

  • Facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops and translate requirements into SAP standard process design.
  • Document process flows, gaps, decisions, and controls; propose standard-first solutions and approved workarounds.
  • Align solution design to SAP Best Practices and the SAP Activate methodology.

Configuration & Build

  • Configure processes using SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC) and in-app configuration.
  • Manage organizational structure, enterprise structure, master data design, and key transactional settings for assigned scope (example: Finance, Sales, or Sourcing & Procurement).
  • Define roles/authorizations with business roles and catalogs (with security/admin support).

Integration, Data, and Extensibility

  • Support interface requirements and coordinate with integration resources (example: SAP Integration Suite).
  • Plan and execute data migration activities using SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit (templates, mapping, validation, load cycles).
  • Manage requirements for in-app extensibility and coordinate side-by-side extensions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) when needed.

Testing, Cutover, and Go-Live

  • Prepare test scenarios and scripts; support unit test, system integration test, and user acceptance test (UAT).
  • Drive defect triage, resolution tracking, and retesting with clear ownership and timelines.
  • Execute cutover planning (checklists, mock cutovers) and provide hypercare support post go-live.

Change Enablement

  • Create user guides and training materials; conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer.

  • Support client stakeholders with adoption planning and operational readiness.

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

  • Strong workshop facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred, but not required, a Certified Public Accountant
  • At least 6 months to a year of work experience in any standard ERP products but fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
  • Good grasp of business acumen
  • Customer-focused approach with problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in fast-paced environments.
