Product Development Team Leader

Job Summary:
The Product Development Assistant Team Leader supports the Product Development Team Leader and Manager in overseeing the creation, improvement, and execution of new product lines. This role involves coordinating product samples, managing timelines, ensuring quality standards, and assisting in team supervision to meet project goals efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the entire product development process—from concept to production.
- Coordinate with designers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure product specifications are met.
- Review and check product samples, materials, and packaging for quality and compliance.
- Monitor development timelines and ensure all deliverables are completed according to schedule.
- Support the Team Leader in assigning tasks and guiding junior team members.
- Maintain detailed documentation of product information, revisions, and approvals.
- Participate in product testing, evaluation, and cost analysis.
- Communicate regularly with suppliers or manufacturers for product updates and issue resolution.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management review.
- Contribute ideas for product innovation and improvement based on market trends and consumer feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, Industrial Design, or any related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years experience in product development, merchandising, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management and quality assurance processes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and product tracking tools.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage.
