We're Hiring: Business Development Manager

Location: City of San Fernando, Pampanga

Employment Type: Full-time

Are you a deal-closer with a passion for building lasting client relationships? We're looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow our loan portfolio while ensuring top-tier client service and credit quality. If you have strong sales instincts, credit evaluation skills, and a heart for helping businesses grow, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Market and generate loan accounts in line with the bank's lending direction and targets
  • Identify and evaluate potential borrowers, validate financials, and conduct thorough credit investigations
  • Prepare loan proposals and credit recommendations, then present them for approval
  • Act as a trusted credit officer—understanding client needs and structuring appropriate financial solutions
  • Ensure all applications follow credit processes, including scoring, collateral appraisal, and documentation
  • Monitor approved accounts, ensuring timely repayments and client satisfaction
  • Detect early warning signs of potential default and take proactive steps: term adjustments, restructuring, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Remedial Management Department on problem accounts when necessary
  • Maintain accurate and complete credit folders and loan files

What We're Looking For:

  • Graduate of a business-related course
  • At least 3 years of experience in banking and loan sales, preferably in another bank
  • Preferably with an existing loan portfolio
  • Strong skills in loan marketing, credit analysis, and risk assessment
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in rural banking is a plus
