POSITION OVERVIEW

Mesh Lab is seeking a talented and detail-oriented 
Video Editor
 to join our post-production team. You will be responsible for editing a wide range of content, including feature films, commercial campaigns, branded films, and short-form social media videos. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creatively driven, and confident working across various formats and styles. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure timely delivery of projects that meet Mesh Lab's quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Edit video content for commercials, branded films, digital campaigns, and social media across various platforms.
  • Collaborate with producers, directors, and creatives to deliver edits that align with the brief and brand vision.
  • Craft compelling stories through effective use of pacing, rhythm, sound, and transitions.
  • Prepare multiple format versions (e.g., 16:9, 9:16, 1:1) for different platforms and usage scenarios.
  • Apply basic color correction, audio balancing, and light visual effects as needed.
  • Manage editing timelines and meet post-production delivery deadlines.
  • Organize and archive project files following company workflows and naming conventions.
  • Implement revisions and feedback promptly and accurately.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of professional experience as a video editor, ideally within an agency or production house.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro is a plus.
  • Excellent sense of timing, visual storytelling, and music selection.
  • Experience editing content for different platforms and aspect ratios (TV, web, mobile, social).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and file management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while staying aligned with production timelines and creative direction.

BONUS SKILLS (PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED)

  • Motion graphics (After Effects)
  • Basic sound design or audio mixing
  • On-set production or media wrangling experience
  • Familiarity with color grading tools
