Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Video Editor with a talent for storytelling, pacing, and emotional engagement. You will be responsible for transforming raw video materials from various sources into high-conversion, high-engagement content. Your role will focus on narrative flow, music sensitivity, and scene selection, working hand-in-hand with our Motion Graphics Designer to produce videos that stand out in the competitive online gaming and entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities

Storytelling & Editing:

1.Edit raw video materials from stock platforms, game footage, influencers, and promotional shoots into compelling, platform-ready videos.

2.Ensure the storyline is engaging from the first 3 seconds to retain viewer attention.

3.Apply creative pacing, transitions, and cut timing to enhance emotional impact.

Music & Sound Integration:

1.Select background music, sound effects, and voiceovers that align perfectly with video tone and brand identity.

2.Sync music beats with visual cuts for a polished result.

Visual Enhancement:

1.Perform colour correction and grading to match brand aesthetics.

2.Conduct basic visual effects to complement motion graphics elements.

Platform Adaptation:

1.Optimise videos for multiple platforms — Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube — in different aspect ratios and lengths.

2.Follow platform-specific trends and video styles to maximise engagement.

Collaboration:

1.Work closely with the Motion Graphics Designer to integrate animated elements seamlessly.

2.Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure creative alignment with campaign objectives.

Requirements

1.Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years as a professional Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing storytelling and pacing skills.

2.Technical Skills: Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with After Effects for basic animations is a plus.

3.Creative Sensitivity: Strong sense of rhythm, music selection, and scene sequencing.

4.Trend Awareness: Knowledge of trending video styles in the Bangladeshi and global gaming/entertainment space.

5.Work Ethic: Self-driven, detail-oriented, and committed to achieving the best result possible.
