Education & Experience:
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Prior experience in payroll or administrative support (an advantage)
- Certification such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and verify employee timesheets and attendance records
- Enter payroll data into software systems and databases
- Calculate wages, benefits, deductions, and commissions
- Prepare and process paychecks or direct deposits
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation
- Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly
- Basic understanding of labor laws and tax regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
