Department: Finance - Accounting Section

Reporting to: Assistant Accounting Manager

Work Schedule: 5-day work week (onsite)

As the Accounting Associate (Accounts Payable) you will be responsible for receiving and timely processing of payment requests while ensuring compliance with accounting policies. You will record and update financial records, and ensure and validate proper documentation of each transaction.

Other requirements includes the following:

  • Receive, validate and process payments requests, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and standards.
  • Record accurately and make necessary adjustments for any discrepancies and errors.
  • Provide updates to requesters on the status of their payment requests and send notifications and documentation to recipients.
  • Support the Tax group by providing proper documentation of valid receipts and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Organize and maintain financial documents and records.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to finance and accounting as needed.

To succeed in this role you will be required to meet the following:

  • Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or any Financial Management related courses.
  • At least 6 months to 1 year work experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to respond effectively to inquiries and deliver information to stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills and attention to details in processing data to identify any inconsistencies.
  • Familiar in SAP or any similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
  • Proficiency in Excel and/or google sheet for sorting and organizing data.
  • Flexibility and agility to take on additional tasks as required.
