Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable and Receivable Accountant to manage our financial transactions and ensure accurate, timely processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in handling accounts involving foreign stakeholders, including managing currency exchange, international payments, and compliance with cross-border financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and payments ensuring compliance with company policies and international regulations.
  • Maintain and reconcile vendor and customer accounts, including foreign currency transactions.
  • Coordinate with foreign stakeholders and vendors to resolve payment discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Monitor outstanding payments and proactively follow up on overdue accounts, including international collections.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports related to payables and receivables for management review.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audits and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as procurement, treasury, and finance to support smooth financial operations.
  • Stay updated on international trade and payment regulations, tax implications, and currency exchange risks.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to payables and receivables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in accounts payable and receivable roles, preferably within an international or multi-currency environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Experience working with foreign stakeholders, including managing cross-border payments and foreign currency reconciliations.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially for dealing with international vendors and customers.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently under tight deadlines.

This is a HYBRID set up and MID Shift schedule
