The role also involves assisting the Store Manager in meeting sales targets and ensuring smooth store operations.

Key Responsibilities Operations Management

 Supervise daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.

 Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and safety

regulations.

 Monitor and maintain store cleanliness, orderliness, and display standards.

 Oversee cash handling, sales transactions, and proper documentation.

Staff Supervision

 Assign tasks and responsibilities to store staff.

 Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, guidance, and feedback.

 Assist in scheduling work shifts to ensure adequate staffing.

 Support training and development of store employees.

Customer Service

 Ensure excellent customer service is delivered by all staff.

 Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner.

 Promote customer satisfaction and retention.

Inventory & Sales

 Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Store Manager for replenishment.

 Ensure proper inventory control and minimise losses due to damages or theft.

 Assist in achieving sales targets and implementing promotional activities.

 Generate sales and inventory reports as required.
