Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and identify trends impacting profitability.
  • Accounting & Reporting
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Cost Control & Inventory Management
  • Collaborate with operations to manage inventory valuation and cost accounting.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor distribution expenses.
  • Analyze logistics and warehousing costs to improve efficiency.
  • Cash Flow & Treasury
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization.
  • Oversee banking relationships and ensure liquidity for operational needs.
  • Monitor receivables and payables to maintain healthy cash cycles.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and internal policies.
  • Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain internal controls and support audit readiness.
  • Strategic Support
  • Partner with leadership on financial strategy and investment decisions.
  • Support pricing strategies, vendor negotiations, and contract evaluations.
  • Provide financial input for expansion plans and capital projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, preferably in distribution or logistics
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling and Excel
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
