Specific Duties & Responsibilities

· Plans the release windows and cycles across activities simultaneously manages risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality.

· Implements and manages release processes for the progression of codes through development, testing, and production environment.

· Collaborates with all participants in software development projects and supports the developers and testers set-up the build and test environments

· Measures and monitors progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations.

· Coordinates release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates

· Communicates all key project plans, release details and schedules, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes to stakeholders.

· Conducts Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews.

· Prepares documents on deployment high level and detailed implementation plans, and run books and maintains a release repository to secure key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.

· Works with release engineers to understand impacts of branches / code merges and plans all release activities
