I. Purpose

The 3D renderer produces 3d models, and renderings for Architecture and Interior Design projects under the supervision of the design team. The 3D Renderer will be working on any/ all phases of the projects with the supervision of the design team.

II. Duties and responsibilities

  1. The 3D Renderer will be producing 3d models of all elements that will be part of the design team's design solution including but not limited to the base building structure, existing and/or new partitions, floor structures, ceiling structures, furniture, etc…

  2. The 3D renderer will also be in charge of producing/ sourcing of digital materials/ models that will be used in the 3d visualizations of the projects. The 3D renderer will be getting instructions from the design team in the form of technical drawings, digital peg boards, actual material samples, brochures, etc…

  3. The 3D renderer will also be in charge of producing 3d models and 3d renderings of specific areas/ objects needed during the costing phase of projects.

  4. The 3D renderer will be reporting to the Principal Architect.

  5. The 3d renderer will also be closely coordinating with lead project designers to ensure timeliness and accuracy of all deliverables.

  6. The 3D renderer maybe assigned to multiple projects and work with multiple project lead designers.

III. Qualifications

  1. Candidate preferably has a degree in graphic design, or other Architecture/ Interior Design related course, or certificate in 3d modeling and rendering software specifically Google Sketchup, Vray for Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop.

  2. One to two years' experience as a 3d Renderer in an Architectural or Interior Design Firm, preferably with experience working on Commercial Fit out projects.

  3. A portfolio of past design and creative projects will be a plus.

  4. Expert with design software and editing tools such as AutoCad, Google Sketchup, Vray for Google Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In design, Adobe Lightroom, etc…

  5. Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, etc…

  6. Good command over design techniques and visual elements.

  7. Familiarity with online 3d model websites is a plus

  8. Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills.

  9. Ability to work with supervision.

  10. Creative thinking with attention to detail.

  11. Should be open to learn the standards of the company.

  12. Effective understanding and knowledge of Technical drawings and manuals.
