About the role

Laba Box' is seeking a driven and experienced HR Specialist to join our team in Davao City. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the company's human resources initiatives and ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees
  2. Maintaining accurate employee records and processing payroll and benefits
  3. Providing HR advice and support to managers and employees on a range of issues
  4. Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  5. Coordinating employee training and development programs
  6. Promoting a positive and inclusive company culture
  7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations

What we're looking for

  1. At least 1 year of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment
  2. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and payroll administration
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
  4. Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  5. Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
  6. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
