Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Solar Engineer to join our renewable energy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. He/she will work closely with project managers, designers, and installation teams to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop solar PV systems, including layout, component selection, and electrical configurations.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for solar installations (utility scale ground mounted solar).
  • Create detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD or similar tools.
  • Perform electrical load analysis and system sizing.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes.
  • Stay current with emerging solar technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

  • With at least 3 years of experience in solar PV system design and engineering.
  • Experience with PV software tools and technologies.
  • Familiarity with grid-tied and off-grid systems.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of solar system components and architecture.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in drafting and electrical design software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
