The Marketing Officer is responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing, promotional, and audience-engagement initiatives for Casa Gorordo Museum, The Kabilin Center, Casa Gorordo Museum Shop, and major cultural programs such as Gabii sa Kabilin. The role ensures strategic branding, increased visitor engagement, and sustained visibility across digital and on-ground platforms, aligned with the organization's cultural and heritage mission.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual and monthly marketing plans for: CGM, TKC, CGM Shop, and Gabii sa Kabilin
  • Create marketing campaigns that support exhibition launches, programs, workshops, partnerships, and heritage events
  • Implement strategies to grow museum visitor numbers, school tours, private group bookings, and shop foot traffic
  • Lead marketing efforts for special events such as: Heritage Month, Exhibit openings, workshops and cultural programs, etc.
  • Coordinate with the Content and Communications Team for CGM Shop's online presence, including maintaining and updating the social media channels for promotional items and other inquiries

Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS Marketing, Communication, Multimedia Arts, Tourism, or its equivalent
  • With at least 2-years experience in marketing, communication, events management (museum, cultural, or tourism sector is an advantage)
  • Willing to be assigned in Cebu City
