COMPANY: A leading group of companies providing services to investors in precious metals, including trading services, secure logistic services and lending services. The company's head office is in Hong Kong with satellite offices in Singapore, Philippines and Israel. The successful candidate will be based in the Philippines (Makati)

Job Duties

1. Transaction Processing & Recording

  • Accounts Payable (A/P): Execute the full A/P cycle, including processing vendor invoices, matching them
  • to purchase documents, and reconciling client and supplier statements.
  • Accounts Receivable (A/R): Generate and issue client and supplier invoices, meticulously record all
  • incoming payments, and actively manage A/R aging to ensure prompt collections.
  • Bank & Cash Management: Perform daily and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure the
  • general ledger balances match external statements.
  • General Ledger (G/L): Accurately post and verify all business transactions and complete necessary data
  • entry into our accounting software.

2. Financial Maintenance & Reporting Support

  • Maintain the chart of accounts, ensuring accurate classification of revenues and expenses.
  • Manage employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company travel and expense policies.
  • Assist the Accounting Head with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain and organize all financial records, documentation, and files.
  • Compliance Support: Assist Risk Management Officer in basic due diligence and account opening process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Experience in fund operations and/or administrative accounting is required.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • International experience or exposure to cross-border transactions is a strong advantage.
