DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in preparing and processing PhilHealth claim forms and supporting documents for inpatient and outpatient cases.
Verify patient eligibility, membership, and benefit entitlement using the PhilHealth portal.
Coordinate with billing, records, and nursing departments for complete claim documentation.
Ensure timely submission of PhilHealth claims to avoid delays and denials.
Encode claim details accurately into the hospital's system or PhilHealth e-claims portal.
Monitor the status of submitted claims and assist in reconciling returned or denied claims.
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of PhilHealth transactions and reports.
Assist patients and their relatives with inquiries regarding PhilHealth benefits and requirements.
Ensure compliance with PhilHealth rules, hospital policies, and confidentiality standards.
Support the Billing and PhilHealth Officers in preparing periodic reports and audits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of any Business Administration, Accounting, or Health-related course.
With at least 6 months of experience in hospital billing or PhilHealth processing (preferred).
Knowledgeable in PhilHealth policies, benefit packages, and e-claims system.
Proficient in MS Office applications and data entry.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
