About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer (5+ years of experience) who uses Copado AI as an essential part of their daily development workflow. You will architect, build, and deliver scalable Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and integrations across multiple Salesforce orgs that power lending, underwriting, customer experience, and operational systems.

This is a modern engineering environment where AI-assisted development is the standard, helping you design faster, code smarter, and deliver high-quality solutions with speed and confidence.

What You'll Do

AI-DRIVEN DEVELOPMENT (CORE RESPONSIBILITY)

  • Use
    Copado AI
    daily to draft Apex/LWC skeletons, generate test classes, optimize queries, and review code
  • Leverage AI-assisted debugging to diagnose issues and accelerate troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with AI to design clean, scalable patterns before coding

SALESFORCE ENGINEERING (HANDS-ONBUILD WORK)

  • Write advanced Apex (services, triggers, Queueables, Batch, REST endpoints)
  • Build modern Lightning Web Components with reusable UI patterns
  • Create scalable data models & selective SOQL/SOSL queries
  • Use Flows where appropriate and move complex logic to Apex

INTEGRATIONS & ARCHITECTURE

  • Develop secure REST integrations using Named Credentials and best-practice patterns
  • Contribute to the organization's architectural standards & coding frameworks
  • Design with performance, maintainability, and compliance in mind

QUALITY, TESTING & DEVOPS

  • Write meaningful, robust test classes (factory patterns, edge cases)
  • Use Git + Copado pipelines for version control and deployments
  • Document designs, APIs, and key implementation details
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed

What You Bring

REQUIRED

  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience
  • Deep expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL, async Apex patterns
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security, and governor limits
  • Experience building and debugging complex Flows
  • Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, Copado or similar
  • Active use of AI tools (Copado AI preferred) for coding and debugging
  • Strong communication and ability to collaborate with Admins, Architects, QA, and Product teams

PREFERRED

  • Platform Developer I required; PDII strongly preferred
  • Experience in lending, financial services, or other regulated industries
  • Experience across multiple Salesforce clouds or orgs
  • Familiarity with Platform Events, CDC, External Services
  • Exposure to Data Cloud or CRM Analytics
