Head of GI Pricing

• Bachelor's Degree in Math, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business, Risk Management or a similar field.
• At least an Associate of the ASP (Philippines), CAS (US), SOA (US), IFOA (UK), IAA (Australia), or other full-member institutes under the International Actuarial Association preferably for general insurance.
• At least 10 years of experience in general insurance pricing.
• Strong knowledge of general insurance principles, products, and practices.
• Experience in leading and developing teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A strategic and innovative thinker; will identify opportunities to anticipate and respond to regulatory changes.
• Good business judgment; an ability to solve complex issues with pragmatic solutions.
• Proven ability to operate effectively at all levels and gain the trust and confidence of colleagues and senior management.
• Able to communicate effectively with senior management and key stakeholders the bases as well as implications of actuarial and financial results.

The Head of GI Pricing is responsible for leading the actuarial pricing team in developing and implementing pricing strategies that ensure the company's general insurance products are profitable and competitive. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general insurance pricing, as well as experience in leading and managing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement pricing strategies for all general insurance lines of business.
• Lead the pricing team in conducting market research and analyzing competitor pricing.
• Develop and maintain pricing models that accurately reflect the risks associated with each product.
• Work with marketing, product development, and underwriting teams to ensure that pricing is aligned with the company's overall business strategy.
• Monitor pricing performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Lead the development of the pricing team, both on technical aspects and business acumen.
• Report to the local management, board, and other governance committees as required.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
