Job Summary:

The Quality and Food Safety (QFS) Assistant Supervisor of the Quality and Food Safety Department is responsible for supporting the QFS Supervisor in supervising the QFS Analyst in ensuring that all Quality and Food Safety standards are being monitored and implemented. Partners with the QFS Supervisor to support aligning projects with RCS goals, constructing detailed work schedules, managing employees, achieving milestones, and communicating with upper management along the way.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Food Technology/ BS Chemistry/ BS Chemical Engineering/ BS Biology or any related Science course.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in any manufacturing or warehouse company or any food-related business.
  • With training and orientation in Local and Global Food Safety Standards, prerequisite programs, and document control.
  • Skills and knowledge in Food Safety Management, HACCP, FSSC, GWP & GOP.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervises and ensures the execution of Quality and Food safety standards in RCS.
  • Assist in validation and analysis of QFS verification checklists for all warehouse operation processes such as inbound, storage, and outbound.
  • Collaborate with the team on setting performance goals and deadlines in line with RCS pillars, and reporting conformities and non-conformities to leadership.
  • Assist in manpower scheduling and maintaining timekeeping of the QFS section.
  • Facilitates preparation for all Internal and External Quality and Food safety audits.
  • Interfaces and engages auditors during internal and external audits to substantiate compliance with established quality and food safety standards.
  • Reviews and submits needed corrections and corrective action plans from Internal and External Quality and Food safety audits.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php22, Php25,000.00 per month
