IT PROJECT MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our growing team. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the project from conceptualization to execution, providing leadership in the planning and development of all deliverables, managing clients and scoping new ones.

Some key responsibilities are:

● Manage technology projects to oversee the entire execution ensuring success following standards of scope, budget and timeline.

● Ensure customer satisfaction from project kickoff until project closure.

● Effective preparation and maintenance of project plans and tracking of activities against the plan.

● Monitor the project's progress providing reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.

● Utilize project management skills to manage project roles, identify resource requirements, define project deliverables, provide client satisfaction, and ensure the quality of the project is maintained.

● Identify the technical approach to be used on a given project and manage the system development process including the development of a strategic plan, systems analysis, technical design, coding, testing, and acceptance.

● Identify, track, monitor, and communicate project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that may arise during project implementation.

● Coordinate with various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.

● Maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients and project team members.

● Mentor and provide expertise to other project team members.

● Prepare and present oral and/or written technical reports and project presentations.

● Organize and conduct project team meetings.

● Able to manage project within the constraints of scope, time, cost and ensure team is able to fulfill all business requirements.

● Effective preparation and maintenance of project plans and tracking of activities against the plan.

Requirements:

● Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/ Information

Technology, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.

● At least 7+ year(s) of working experience managing the development, implementation, and support of IT projects. Strong project delivery experience and a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle. With experience as a developer and QA tester.

● Fluent in English and Filipino. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

● Strong leadership, interpersonal, and client-facing skills

● Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

● Ability to prioritize and multi-task across numerous work streams

● Strong attention to detail and excellent project management skills.

Cypher is a small yet dynamic software development start up and this position is under a remote work arrangement, with weekly visits to clients. Applicant must be based within Metro Manila.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php60, Php80,000.00 per month
