Primary Job Descriptions:
The Corporate Finance Manager will lead and manage the overall financial strategy and operations of the company.
This includes responsibility for the full spectrum of accounting and tax functions, financial planning, internal controls, audit coordination, and the development of financial policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities and Task List:
1. Strategic Financial Management:
a. Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals.
b. Lead financial forecasting, planning, and analysis.
c. Provide insights and recommendations to executive leadership based on financial data.
2. Accounting Operations:
a. Oversee the general ledger, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closings.
b. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
c. Implement and maintain internal control systems.
d. Coordinate fixed asset management and depreciation schedules.
e. Monitor and enhance financial processes for greater efficiency.
f. Ensure accuracy of intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
3. Tax Compliance and Reporting:
a. Ensure full compliance with all local and international tax laws and regulations.
b. Oversee preparation and timely filing of all tax returns (e.g., VAT, income tax, withholding tax).
c. Serve as the primary contact for tax audits and related matters.
d. Support the implementation and optimization of BIR compliances. e. Participate in cross-functional projects requiring financial data and report.
f. Lead strategic tax planning to optimize the company's tax position. g. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing tax regulations and their implications.
4. Treasury and Cash Flow Management:
a. Manage company cash flow and working capital.
b. Optimize banking relationships and monitor liquidity needs.
c. Implement risk management strategies for financial assets.
5. Team Leadership and Development:
a. Lead, train, and develop the finance and accounting team.
b. Set performance objectives and monitor team KPIs.
c. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
d. Facilitate cross-training within the department to ensure business continuity. e. Identify skills gaps and organize relevant training and upskilling programs.
6. Compliance and Governance:
a. Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and financial reporting standards.
b. Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
c. Ensure timely preparation of corporate governance reports for the board.
d. Implement financial risk and compliance management frameworks.
e. Champion ethical conduct and corporate transparency across the finance function.
7. Ad Hoc and Special Projects:
a. Support special initiatives such as systems implementation, cross department reporting and planning.
b. Represent the finance function in cross-departmental projects.
c. Collaborate with departments such as Operations, Sales, HR, and Legal to align financial planning with business needs.
d. Provide financial guidance and analysis for strategic business decisions across departments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php80, Php100,000.00 per month
