The Treasury Officer is responsible for managing the organization's daily cash flow, monitoring liquidity, executing banking transactions, and supporting investment and financing decisions. The role ensures that the company's financial obligations are met efficiently while optimizing the return on cash and managing financial risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Management:
  • Monitor daily cash position and forecast short-term liquidity needs.
  • Manage and reconcile cash balances across bank accounts.
  • Coordinate intercompany fund transfers.
  • Banking Operations:
  • Process and approve payments, including wire transfers and ACH transactions.
  • Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Open and close bank accounts and manage banking signatories.
  • Treasury Reporting:
  • Prepare weekly/monthly cash flow reports.
  • Assist in preparing treasury-related KPIs and dashboards.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing treasury documentation.
  • Risk Management:
  • Monitor foreign exchange exposures and interest rate risks.
  • Support hedging activities as per treasury policy.
  • Investment and Funding Support:
  • Assist in evaluating short-term investment options for surplus funds.
  • Support debt management activities and covenant compliance.
  • Compliance and Controls:
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all treasury transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree (e.g., MBA with Finance focus) is a plus but not required.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in: Corporate treasury, Banking, Finance or accounting, Financial risk management
  • Experience with cash management, bank operations, or liquidity planning is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and numerical ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure
  • Good organizational and time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
