Job Summary:

The Purchasing Staff supports the team in performing daily operational tasks in the department. This role is

expected to correctly and accurately monitor inventory of stocks at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY

 Accept/receive Purchase Order from various departments.

 Encode Purchase Order (PO) from customers or stock requisition sent by Operations.

 Process Purchase Order

o Review, examine and analyze submitted PO request as against the product performance and

stock inventory level.

o Prepare PO request for replenishment of items.

o Print purchase order.

o Send order to supplier via fax machine or email and confirm by phone.

o File order.

o Monitor delivery. Follow-up on pending orders.

 Forward/endorse price change instruction to MIS Department.

 Create new items. Encode new item request.

 Prepare memo if specific supplier has a promo.

 Canvass/inquire similar items/products with competitor perform price study.

 Keep updated on the latest trends/designs on Company offered products.

 Inventory Management

o Monitor stock of items per assigned supplier.

o Identify slow and fast moving items.

 General clerical and administrative support

o Prepare summary of delivery.

o File important documents accordingly.

GENERAL

 Represent the Company by maintaining a professional and appropriate appearance.

 Meet performance goals and expected results based on the agreed timeline.

Active); operate and out all these values to work each day.

 Perform duties and other related work assigned provided relevant orientation and coaching is carried

out.

Role Accountability:

 Accurate encoding of items in the system.

 Correct inventory of products.

 Ensure all PO received are processed end-to-end.

Specifications:

o Educational Attainment

o Graduate of 4-year course or at least 2 years vocational course.

o Work Experience

o At least 1 year of work experience; preferably with Purchasing or Procurement.

o New graduate is accepted.

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ortigas: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Purchasing: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Preferred)
