POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the daily operations, facility management, and maintenance of the assigned building; liaises with tenants and owners; coordinates and oversees maintenance, housekeeping, and security activities; and ensures compliance with regulatory standards and codes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Checks and monitors the physical condition, general upkeep; cleanliness of the building, its surroundings, and its facilities.

  • Maintains continuous communication with staff on all building related issues, and work with SQA to create and continually provide updates for a physical facilities issues list and ensure proper dissemination of pertinent information. This includes utility shutdowns and disruption of services from other facilities-related work whether planned or unplanned.

  • Ensures proper and judicious usage of all building utilities, including electricity, water, and LPG, especially those within his jurisdiction.

  • Maintains awareness of tenants on facilities-related problems and communicates with the tenant for correction of those problems.

  • Assumes Incident Commander Responsibilities as head of Emergency Response Team during any type of incident.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred), Business Administration, Property Management, or any related field

  • At least 5 years of experience managing multiple properties

  • At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role
