Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial or Mechanical Engineering) or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, tools, and methodologies (e.g., SPC, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

The Quality Control (QC) Line Engineer, reporting directly to the QC Head, is responsible for all aspects of the QC function within the production line. This role involves establishing, implementing, and enforcing quality controls to ensure all processes and products meet established quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in quality assurance and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Control Implementation:
    Establish and implement necessary quality control measures for all production processes and finished products.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Ensure all processes and products strictly adhere to quality standards and customer specifications through proper monitoring and control.
  • Planning & Organization:
    Plan, organize, and manage daily quality control activities to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Supervision & Training:
    Oversee QC line inspectors and provide training and guidance on quality standards, procedures, and inspection techniques.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    Monitor quality metrics, analyze data, and prepare reports on QC performance. Identify trends and potential issues.
  • Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA):
    Investigate and resolve quality issues by implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality control activities, including inspection results, test data, and reports.
