Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Graduate
  • 5 years of relevant experience in Backup technologies (e.g. Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable with Unix and Cloud

Responsibilities:

  • Configuration, monitoring, administration and maintenance of backup environment including backup

servers, backup storage, VTL, network configuration and clients
- Performing standard and test restores of requested files, folders, databases and virtual machines
- Performing disaster recovery tests
- Using automation to simplify tasks and improve consistency
- Reporting department KPIs to top management
- Create and update documentation; actively build team's knowledge base
- Troubleshooting backup issues related to VMs, flat files, and databases
- Perform in line with agreed procedures, SLA's and customers' expectations
- Compliance with internal regulations and procedures including company's intellectual property protection
